+-now 2008

+-now is an interactive artwork installed at Beta_Space gallery and prototyping exhibition space at the Sydney Powerhouse Museum. The work illustrates and facilitates the investigation of perceptual emergence. The tangible user interface consists of sand. Imagery is projected in monochrome on a screen and in dynamic colour, drawing upon procedural computer graphics directly on the sand in an augmented reality display.
